Scheduling macros

During the installation process Jitbit Macro Recorder fully integrates into the Windows shell and registers its file associations. This makes it very quick and easy to schedule a macro using Windows' built-in Task Scheduler. To schedule a macro follow these steps:

  1. Select "Tools - Scheduled Tasks" from the main menu OR open the "Scheduled Tasks" from you windows' Control Panel ("Start - Control Panel" or "Start - Settings - Control Panel"). This will open Windows Task Scheduler folder.
  2. Double-click "Add Scheduled Task", the "Scheduled Task Wizard" will come up
  3. On the "Click the program you want Windows to run" screen click the "Browse..." button and navigate to the script you want to run.
  4. On the next screen type a name for the task, set up the schedule, all other properties and finish the wizard.

IMPORTANT: if you want to schedule your macros, remember to set up Jitbit Macro Recorder auto-play and auto-shutdown settings properly. See the Settings section.
