Scheduling macros
During the installation process Jitbit Macro Recorder fully integrates into the Windows shell and registers its file associations. This makes it very quick and easy to schedule a macro using Windows' built-in Task Scheduler. To schedule a macro follow these steps:
- Select "Tools - Scheduled Tasks" from the main menu OR open the "Scheduled Tasks" from you windows' Control Panel ("Start - Control Panel" or "Start - Settings - Control Panel"). This will open Windows Task Scheduler folder.
- Double-click "Add Scheduled Task", the "Scheduled Task Wizard" will come up
- On the "Click the program you want Windows to run" screen click the "Browse..." button and navigate to the script you want to run.
- On the next screen type a name for the task, set up the schedule, all other properties and finish the wizard.
IMPORTANT: if you want to schedule your macros, remember to set up Jitbit Macro Recorder auto-play and auto-shutdown settings properly. See the Settings section.
