To activate a network profile, select it and click the "Activate" button on the toolbar OR double-click a network profile in the list (if the appropriate option is set up in the Settings). Or right-click a network profile and select "Activate" from the context menu. A message "Activating, please wait" will appear in the status bar. Wait until this message is changed to "Done". You can close Net Profle Switch and start working with your network.
You can also switch a network profile from the command prompt. For example:
NetProfileSwitch.exe office
The above command will activate a network profile named "office" (if found).
PLEASE NOTE: activating a network profile is usually fast, but sometimes it can take several moments (up to 10-15 seconds), depending on various things: current network traffic, link speed etc. Also note, that, for example, incorrect DHCP-profiles may not activate correctly in a static-IP network environment, and vice versa. Choose the right profile to activate. Also note, that profiles may not activate correctly if your network cable is unplugged.
