Windows XP Firewall settings

Windows XP includes Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) software you can use to restrict what information is communicated between the Internet and your computer. If you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) your firewall is turned on automatically.

Net Profile Switch allows enabling or disabling the Internet Connection Firewall for a network profile.

PLEASE NOTE: When Net Profile Switch activates a firewall-disabled profile, Windows may display a warning dialog "Your computer might be at risk". This warning can be disabled by installing Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher.
