To adjust the proxy settings of your web browser proxy click the Proxy tab. Choose one of the options (no proxy, automatically detect or manual settings). Optionally, configure the proxy-server's address and port. Address and port should be separated by colon. For example: "proxy.msn.com:3128". If you are not sure about the values, contact your network administrator.
Net Profile Switch supports Mozilla FireFox, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Opera web browsers. When a network profile is switched, Net Profile Switch tries to configure proxy for all three browsers, if it finds it installed.
When you press the View current settings... button the program attempts to scan your system for all supported browsers and detect it's proxy settings. Review the proxy settings and press the Import button next to the detected values.
PLEASE NOTE: Internet Explorer needs to be restarted for any of the settings to take effect.
PLEASE NOTE: Mozilla FireFox and Opera should be closed PRIOR to activating a network profile. Also note, that if you have multiple firefox-profiles in your browser, Net Profile Switch configures only the first, default firefox-profile.
