JitBit Net Profile Switch® allows switching network settings, i.e. storing and switching between two or more network configuration sets or "profiles". A configuration set contains TCP/IP-settings of your network interface, browser proxy settings, Windows Firewall settings, network drive mappings and default printer. Also profile contains information about a VPN or Dial-Up connection, which should be established after activating a profile.
Assume you have a DHCP-enabled network at your office, and a static IP-address assigned to your network card at home. Every time you connect your notebook to a new network you have to change network-adapter settings manually.
