Importing RSS feeds from HTML

RSS Feed Creator comes with a built-in HTML-to-RSS converter, which allows converting any static (or dynamic) HTML-text to an RSS feed by searching the HTML-text for repeatable content.

Converting HTML to RSS

To generate an RSS feed from any HTML text follow these simple steps:

select "File - Import - Import from HTML" in the main menu
specify the HTML file to import the feed data from. You can specify both local HTML-file, or a URL like "http://www.MyWebSite.com/news.htm";
specify the string, where the feed data starts;
specify the "begin" and "end" string patterns for the fragments to search for. EXAMPLE: if every news item on a webpage starts with a "<p class=newsitem>" text, specify "<p class=newsitem>" as a start item string;
click "OK";
