I am new to MR and am having trouble creating a macro (keyboard only) that records a Return. I have a frequent requirement to find a string of text (from TYPE TEXT) on a webpage. I do this by running a macro (exe) that (1) opens the webpage, (2) executes a ctrl+f to get the Find window up, (3) does the TYPE TEXT of the to-be-searched-for text into the find field, then (4) press Return on the keyboard.

The result should be highlighted text on the webpage at the first occurance of the searched-for text from the TYPE TEXT.

The macro script looks just perfect. But on playback the Return key, even though it shows in the script, is not executed so the find never happens.

I put a MESSAGE BOX after the Return in the script and re-ran the macro to see if the macro was executing all the way and, sure enough, the message box pops up just fine. But the Return is skipped.

Without the Return executing, I'm dead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
