I have a user that Net Profile Switch refuses to set its IP address to DHCP. It is running Win XP pro, Net Profile Switch 4.73 and the network card in question is an Intel Pro/1000 PL. The profile is supposed to set the card back to DHCP, but instead it insists on setting it statically as:
IP - 0.0.0.0
SM - 255.0.0.0
DG and DNS are left blank
It works just fine when I switch the Wireless cards IP address between DHCP and static. It is just the wired connection that is having the problem.
Any thoughts?

please make sure that the network cable is connected when you activate a DHCP-profile.
