Years ago I came across a network switcher, but never really liked it. Now that I working with many different networks simultaneously, I have again searched for a network switcher. One I did like trashed my system twice when I moved onto NPS.
I have been testing it for bit now and love it. I came to the site to purchase it finally and noticed I had v3.84 for some reason whereas the newest is 4.16.0. Probably the only thing I wish NPS included was renaming the profiles. I was pleasantly surprised to find that v4.16 now includes this!
I thank you for NPS. All other offerings didn't seem to fit my needs. I just need something to change IP/Subnet/Gateway/DNS easily. And I just noticed the tray icon has a context menu to change profile--love it.
The only suggestion I think I could make at this point is that one profile can change multiple network interfaces at once. ie change LAN to DHCP and WLAN to static. It may be a long shot, but it is something that I could use. And maybe reorder the profiles.
Thanks, I think my search is over.

After more usage w/ NPS and my needs developing, what I would aslo like to see is the ability for a profile to enable/disable one or more network interfaces.
Also, installing new versions is somewhat annoying having to manually uninstall the current version then restart the installation. Would be nice if the installer either didn't always need to have the previous version uninstalled or have the installer uninstall the old version for the user.
Thanks.

-the version 4.7 which allows controlling multiple interfaces in one profile is ready. It is now in the testing phase. If you would like to participate, please let me know (better - via our support form on the website), and I will provide you with a download link to a 4.7prerelease version.
-uninstalling annoys, I agree. That is how Windows Installer (msi) basically works... Will try to work that around...

I am having a look at v4.7 now and looks nice.
I do have a couple suggestions.
1. larger edit window; resizeable.
2. larger interfaces selection box. I have many interfaces and only able to view 2 with a high screen resolution is cramped.
3. tab key tabs to next edit field in edit window (from IP address field to subnet mask field, etc.)
4. ability to enable/disable interface in edit profile window. Crucial feature behind multi-interface for me.
Again, I haven't had time to utilize it yet, these are just first impressions with this feature and having to re-edit all current profiles.
ughh, hope the uninstall/reinstall issue resolved shortly. LOL.
Thanks for the highly anticipated update
