I have just purchased the Full Version of HD, and after installing the new HelpDesk.dll file into the \Bin directory of the HelpDesk web app, users now get the error "Invalid Column name 'ForTechsOnly' after clicking submit.
The issue shows up in the Issues list however.
do I need to re-install something else?
I have HD v3.1.1.0 right now.

If your using an SQL database and you haven't run the Update.SQL file then give that a try. I normally just copy & paste it into SQL manager and click execute.
It will alter the database to match the latest version of the Helpdesk.

you just have to upgrade your database to the latest version. Please urn the upgrade script.

Thanks all,
I'd say the FAQ should be updated, then. One of the questions in the FAQ (http://www.jitbit.com/productfaq.aspx?ProductID=13#22) asks about upgrading from trial to full being easy, and the answer simply states "...just replace a single DLL...". Granted a FAQ isn't a full set of installation instructions, but you catch my drift... 
One I re-installed however, everything has been running smoothly. edited by jhiggins on 8/18/2008
