Scheduling macros

During the installation process Jitbit Macro Recorder fully integrates into the Windows shell and registers its file associations. This makes it very quick and easy to schedule a macro using Windows' built-in Task Scheduler. To schedule a macro follow these steps:

  1. Create a macro and save your changes to a file
  2. Select "Tools - Schedule macros" from the main menu.
  3. Choose the repetition interval ("daily", "weekly", "monthly")
  4. Set the first run date. This time will also be user for all future runs. For example: if you schedule a macro to run daily and the first run is at 3pm - all future run will also occur at 3pm.

IMPORTANT: if you want to schedule your macros, remember to pass the necessary command-line switches (read here) or set up Jitbit Macro Recorder auto-play and auto-shutdown settings properly. See the Settings section.
