Enkodr 1.0

JitBit Enkodr™ is the world's easiest "on-the-fly" text encryption software. It works in conjunction with ANY text-editing program: MS Word, MS Outlook or even a web-based email like GoogleMail or Yahoo.

  1. Just enter some text (in ANY program)
  2. Select the text with your mouse
  3. Press a keyboard shortcut
  4. Choose a password
  5. The text will change to a totally unreadable set of characters.

Examples of use

  1. Encrypt some text using a key
  2. Send this text to a friend and tell him the key.
Your friend does not even have to download and install Enkodr, he can use our online decoding service to read your message.

Here's an example of using Enkodr with a GMail message editing window:

All you have to do to encrypt (or decrypt) some text is:

  1. Select the text with your mouse
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+F9* on your keyboard
  3. Enter a "key" phrase (a password used to encode/decode the fragment)
  4. The text will be converted to encoded data within your program.

* - this key combination can be changed.
