Extending source code and future upgrades

yes, using partial classes for codebehind is the best option.
as for the aspx files - we recommend using some simple file-comparision tool (for example, the one included with Total Commander file manager) to detect the changes/ Also I suggest you keep a non-modified versin of the source codes somewhere, which makes it very easy to determine what aspx-files have changed with the release (by simply sorting the files list by date).

Pause/abort Problem

how did you bind a macro to a hotkey - using our Macro Launcher tool? actually, you can't pause a macro if it's started by a launcher tool, pause function can be used only when you run a macro inside Macro Recorder

Extending source code and future upgrades

What are some recommendations on things to do, and especially not to do, when adding our own custom code, in order to make future upgrades from JitBit work with minimal problems?
I'm thinking partial classes for the code behind files would probably solve a lot of potential problem, but what about the aspx markup? How about modifying existing database tables? Should I leave them be and just create resolution tables for all relations instead? edited by pnwfcu on 9/5/2008

RSS messages.aspx.cs bug

The RSS feed generated in messages.aspx.cs does not show the description text, but rather repeats the title text. The RSS feed for recent posts does post the description text correctly.
Can anyone suggest a fix?

Also, just curious if you know whether the breadcrumb navigation is getting fixed in the next update?

Pause/abort Problem

I've created a macro and assigned it to hot keys, but everytime I push my pause button (assigned to 9) it shows the top left that it's paused but the macro continues. This only happens if I've made the process repeat X amount of times though. It's a bit frustrating because I can't abort of pause the macro so I need to restart the computer in order for it to stop working. Am I doing something wrong?

HelpDeskWithSources shows demo version

We purchased the HelpDeskWithSource version.
In VS when building the project it shows in the black header "demo version", and at the bottom after the version 3.1.1.0. In other posts I've seen comments about needing to download a DLL to upgrade from demo to full version; do we need to do this?
I also noticed I can't delete users when logged in as admin... I assume that's a limitation of demo version? edited by pnwfcu on 8/28/2008
