How the SLA calculator works

Calculation method
The calculator converts an uptime target into an allowed downtime budget: period length × (100% − uptime). A day is 86,400 seconds, a week is 7 days, a month is the average Gregorian month (365.25 ÷ 12 days), and a quarter is one fourth of a 365.25-day year.
SLA contract notes
Real SLA terms may define a different reporting window, such as a calendar month, rolling 30 days, or a billing period. Use this as a quick technical estimate, then check your agreement for exclusions, maintenance windows, service credits, and how partial incidents are counted.
