Helpdesk MS Teams Integration - Ticket Notifications in Microsoft Teams
Jitbit Helpdesk integrates with Microsoft Teams, delivering real-time ticket notifications straight into your team channels. Every time a customer submits a support request, your agents see it instantly in MS Teams -- so nothing slips through the cracks.
If your team already lives in Microsoft Teams, this integration eliminates the need to constantly switch between apps. Agents can spot new tickets the moment they arrive, discuss them with colleagues in the same channel, and jump into the helpdesk to respond -- all without leaving their workflow.
Why connect your helpdesk to Microsoft Teams?
Most support teams already spend their day in MS Teams. By piping helpdesk notifications into a dedicated channel, you get several immediate benefits:
- Faster response times -- agents see new tickets in real time, right where they are already working.
- Better team collaboration -- discuss tricky tickets in the channel before responding to the customer.
- Full visibility for managers -- everyone on the channel can monitor incoming request volume at a glance.
- Zero context switching -- no need to keep the helpdesk dashboard open in a separate tab just to watch for new tickets.
The integration supports both the SaaS (cloud-hosted) and on-premise (self-hosted) versions of Jitbit Helpdesk.
How to set up the MS Teams integration

Setting up the Microsoft Teams integration takes about two minutes. In Jitbit, navigate to Admin → Integrations → MS Teams and check the "Enable MS Teams integration" box. Then paste the Webhook URL you generated in Teams (see below) and hit Save.
How to get the Webhook URL from Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams uses the Workflows app to generate webhook URLs. Here is the step-by-step process:
- Add the Workflows app to your Microsoft Teams (search for it in the Teams app store).
- Navigate to the channel where you want ticket notifications to appear, click the three-dot menu (•••) and select Workflows.
- In the Workflows panel, search for "Webhook".
- Select the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template.
- Follow the prompts to add the workflow, then copy the generated webhook URL.
- Paste the webhook URL into the Jitbit Helpdesk MS Teams settings page and save.
That is all it takes. New ticket notifications will start appearing in your chosen Microsoft Teams channel immediately.
What the notifications look like
Each notification includes the ticket subject, submitter name, and other key details so your team can triage at a glance:
