Helpdesk Login Page
Looking for your helpdesk login page?
Go to your account URL - like companyABC.jitbit.com
- and login from there. If you've visited your helpdesk on this device before, simply visit our website homepage and you'll see a "login" button at the top. If you don't know your helpdesk URL, please ask your administrator.
Helpdesk login page is just a simple login form in order to sign in to the Jitbit ticketing system.
Users can also submit a support ticket without logging in if this feature is enabled by the helpdesk administrator.
In case you have lost your password, use the "forgot password" link below the form, enter your email and reset your password.
Single sign-on
Jitbit Helpdesk supports various SSO options: SAML 2.0, Google login, Microsoft login etc. All these options can be enabled in the "admin panel". Find more info about SAML here.
If you enable SAML-login, Google-login or Microsoft-login, the login page will show corresponding buttons below the login form ("login via SAML", "login via Google"), so users can authenticate using an external service and be redirected back to the help desk app.
You can optionally set up the login page to automatically redirect users to your SAML/SSO provider, where they can sign and be redirected back to the helpdesk app.
SAML vs "Login with Google" vs "Login with Microsoft"
Which should you Choose?
SAML 2.0 is a widely adopted authentication protocol that enables applications to integrate with external Identity Providers such as Okta, OneLogin, Auth0, as well as Microsoft and Google. In addition to Single Sign On, Jitbit Helpdesk allows "single sign out": pressing "log out" in Jitbit Helpdesk will also log the user out from IdP.
While SAML provides flexibility and enterprise-grade security, it can be complex to configure. That’s why we also support simpler OAuth-based login options like "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Microsoft". These require zero configuration and allow anyone with a Google or Microsoft account to log in instantly - creating an account automatically on their first sign-in.
Note
When users log in using SAML, the helpdesk app will also sync some of the user's info with the SAML provider (like First/Last name, email, phone etc.). Find our which attributes are being pulled form the provider here
User provisioning
Jitbit Helpdesk additionally supports SCIM 2.0 protocol for central user management: for example, when you disable a user in Azure, it becomes disabled in the helpdesk app.
