Asset Search

The "Assets search" page lets you easily find assets easily. You can use the "simple" search form (this was the app will search for the specified text in asset names, location, and serial number simultaneously) - or you can use the "advanced" button to narrow down your search to specific "manufacturers", types, locations, names, etc.

When you search for assets within a company - the helpdesk app will return both assets assigned to this company, AND assets checked out by that company's users. When you search by department, this will output assets checked out by that department's users.

If you don't specify any criteria, the page will simply output all the assets currently registered in the helpdesk ticketing system.
